Job Title: General Laborer - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our operations team as General Laborers on the second shift. You will be responsible for producing high-quality products by using tools and equipment for cutting, sewing, and assembling tarps. Your role will ensure that products meet design specifications and are shipped on time.

Responsibilities

+ Produce quality products by using hand and power tools for cutting and sewing tarps.

+ Add grommets, labels, and other accessories according to product design.

+ Accurately measure and cut materials, following detailed instructions.

+ Sew both regular and custom tarps, integrating webbing and reinforcement as required.

+ Track and record daily sewing workload with precision.

+ Deliver finished tarps to the shipping department promptly.

+ Assist in various departments as needed to ensure timely production and shipping.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production and general labor.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.

+ Ability to accurately measure, cut, and interpret detailed instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with packing and assembly is advantageous.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Haven, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
