    Job Title: Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a diligent Forklift Operator to manage inbound and outbound shipments, including loading and unloading trucks. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for picking full pallets and ensuring the efficient organization of products. Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards, especially when handling FDA-regulated products, is crucial. Quality takes precedence over quantity in our operations.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate a Stand Up forklift to manage inbound and outbound shipments.

    + Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.

    + Pick full pallets and organize products in the warehouse.

    + Ensure compliance with GMP and SOP guidelines.

    + Identify and rectify any mistakes promptly.

    + Maintain accurate inventory records and SAP data entry.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in operating a Stand Up forklift.

    + Attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance.

    + Understanding of FDA regulations and GMP/SOP compliance.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Competency in computer and RF Scanner operations.

    + Stable work history with experience in warehouse operations.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with GMPs/SOPs is a bonus.

    + SAP or inventory management experience is advantageous.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a spacious 500,000 square ft. warehouse with 40 dedicated employees. Our facility is semi-climate controlled, providing air conditioning in the summer. As the distribution hub for chocolate manufacturing, we maintain a temperature-controlled environment to preserve product quality. The site operates on a rotating schedule with both day and night shifts available.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
