    Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team focused on optimizing manufacturing operations through innovative design and strategic planning. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing production efficiency and ensuring quality standards are met.

    Responsibilities

    + Optimize workforce, space, and workflow for efficient manufacturing operations.

    + Design equipment layouts and collaborate on product and tooling for production efficiency.

    + Specify and procure equipment, materials, and tooling based on quality standards.

    + Evaluate suppliers and oversee technical decisions for production equipment.

    + Manage equipment implementation from delivery to production handoff.

    + Create documentation, maintenance plans, and training materials.

    + Estimate production time, staffing, and costs for new and existing products.

    + Develop and troubleshoot processing parameters for elastomeric materials.

    + Support daily production and collaborate with teams to improve processes.

    + Ensure compliance with TS through procedures and workflows.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience.

    + Experience in the automotive industry.

    + Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience in lieu of education.

    + Proven experience in managing projects and applying lean principles such as Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma.

    + Proficient in ROI justification, ergonomic design, GD&T interpretation, statistical methods, and SPC charts.

    + Understanding of PPAP documentation, APQP, and TS compliance.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Extensive automotive experience.

    + Thorough understanding of TS standards.

    Work Environment

    Work in a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment specializing in plastic and metal-bonding rubber components. The operation is spread across two buildings, with plans to condense into one by the end of the year. This role offers a vibrant culture that values innovation, sustainability, and work-life balance.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
