    Job Description

    Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in patient care and support the clinical team in a busy primary care practice.

    Responsibilities

    + Room patients efficiently and ensure their comfort before examinations.

    + Clean and prepare exam rooms between patient visits to maintain a sterile environment.

    + Answer phones and manage patient inquiries with professionalism and care.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in medical assisting with a focus on reliability and handling fast-paced environments.

    + Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system.

    + Knowledge of cardiology.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Possession of EMT, CNA, or MA Diploma (no license required).

    + Prior experience with Epic is preferred.

    Work Environment

    This position is based in a primary care practice that serves over 50 patients daily. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a consistent and structured workweek.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgeport, Connecticut.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
