Superintendent – Large-Scale Data Center Construction

Project Overview

This multi-phase data center development includes several buildings, each approximately 1 million square feet, supporting 150 MW of capacity per phase. The total site potential exceeds 1 GW, with guaranteed work spanning 2–2.5 years, and possible extension to 5–7 years. Construction includes:

+ Deep foundations (pipe pile and pile caps)

+ Precast insulated wall panels and double-T roof systems

+ Site work, including roads, ponds, and underground utilities

+ Winter construction strategies, including temp walls and heat systems

+ Coordination with multiple subcontractors and excavation teams

Role Overview

Lead field operations on a fast-paced, evolving data center project. You’ll manage daily site activities, coordinate with trades, and ensure safety and schedule adherence in a high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

+ Direct site operations and subcontractor activities

+ Manage precast erection, deep foundations, and site utilities

+ Adapt to changing scopes and fluid work plans

+ Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards

+ Communicate proactively with project teams

Qualifications

+ 5+ years of construction experience, preferably with large-scale industrial or data center projects

+ Strong leadership and coordination skills

+ Experience with precast systems, deep foundations, and winter logistics

+ Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore)

+ Willingness to work a 6-day schedule and travel between remote sites

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
