Mathematician/Statistician- Level 1 (Pomona, NJ)

Location : Atlantic City, NJ Duties : Provides expertise in various disciplines of mathematics and statistics, as related to the analysis of pertinent data. Responsible for analyzing data and applying computational techniques to solve complex problems related to Air traffic control, safety, and security, acquisition, contracts, and IT. Work on teams with engineers, scientists, and other specialist to ensure the safety and efficiency of air travel. This work involves developing and operating advanced next-generation technology which is crucial for the FAA’s mission. Must be familiar with NAS Systems. Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in pure or applied mathematics or statistics. Master's Degree in related field may be substituted for Bachelor's degree and 3 years’ experience. PhD in related field may be substituted for Bachelor's degree and 7 years’ experience.
