JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for screening gynecological and non-gynecological specimens for pre-malignant, malignant, or infectious processes.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process / Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
+ Bachelor's Degree in one of the major sciences
+ Completion of a one year internship in a structured hospital cytology training program
License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
+ ASCP (or equivalent) registered or eligible

+ Non-exempt hourly
