    • Haul Truck Operator – Surface Mine Project (Contract)

    •️ Job Overview

     

    Operate heavy earth-moving equipment—dozers, excavators, loaders, mining trucks, and scrapers—for site preparation and material movement on a surface mine. This is strictly above-ground work in a dynamic outdoor environment.

     

    • Key Responsibilities

    + Safely operate and maintain heavy equipment

    + Perform daily servicing and preventative maintenance

    + Use GPS units for precision work

    + Respond to emergencies and correct unsafe conditions

    + Collaborate with other operators and assist in utility tasks

    + Support water management, reclamation, and construction efforts

    • Requirements

    + High school diploma or GED

    + 2+ years of experience with heavy off-road equipment

    + Mechanical aptitude and basic diesel engine knowledge

    + Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, and weekends

    + Experience in heavy highway or civil projects preferred

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
