Job Title: Inventory Control Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and maintaining accurate records using various proprietary computer systems.
Responsibilities
+ Research, track, and execute the release and shipping of products using systems like Inventory Management System, Receiving System, and Daily Production Scheduler.
+ Manage and verify the receipt of in-house manufactured goods, processing requests based on established SOPs.
+ Track and receive materials from external vendors and clients using the proprietary inventory management system.
+ Receive and issue finished materials to the In Process Inspection Department for final inspection.
+ Utilize First In/First Out methodology (FIFO) for material distribution to all internal departments.
+ Prioritize and adjust daily inventory management tasks by monitoring production schedules and shifting priorities.
+ Effectively communicate work status and schedule changes to leadership, escalating issues as needed.
+ Proactively manage workload, adjusting based on daily priorities to ensure timelines and cost-effectiveness.
+ Enter product and shipment data accurately, customizing shipping per customer-specific requirements.
+ Destroy expired label inventory per established procedures and timelines.
+ Work collaboratively with cross-functional department managers to meet company goals under tight timelines.
+ Account for all inventory, ensuring proper product identification and prompt return of labels to inventory.
+ Assist in developing and maintaining procedures, recommending process improvements proactively.
+ Maintain and order shipping supplies to ensure adequate supply levels.
+ Pack labels into boxes to avoid damage during transit.
+ Perform light to moderate lifting of boxes and storage material averaging 20 lbs.
+ Operate tools and equipment safely, including forklifts and hand trucks.
+ Transport materials to and from the warehouse using company vehicles.
+ Maintain orderly work areas and conduct activities safely, wearing safety shoes at all times.
+ Apply Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility.
+ Demonstrate and promote the company vision.
+ Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Essential Skills
+ High School Diploma
+ Ability to lift boxes and storage material averaging 30 lbs.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Effective communication skills with all levels of personnel.
+ Understanding of customer requirements and profiles.
+ Availability for overtime, including weekends.
+ Valid NY State Driver’s License (Required to Maintain Employment)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Prior experience with First In/First Out Methodology (FIFO)
+ Prior experience with Inventory Management Systems

Work Environment
You will work in a fast-paced environment requiring the operation of various inventory management systems. The role involves light to moderate lifting and the use of company vehicles for material transportation. Safety is paramount, with all activities conducted in accordance with Good Manufacturing Principles. Safety shoes are required attire at all times.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Bohemia, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
