Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

Set up and operate CNC Press Brake and Turret machines, specifically Salvagnini and Amada brand machines. You will set up parts based on work orders and set up instructions, primarily working with aluminum. Additionally, you will inspect parts using micrometers and calipers, focusing mainly on production run work.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate CNC Press Brake and Turret machines.

+ Work with Salvagnini and Amada brand machines.

+ Set up parts according to work orders and setup instructions.

+ Work primarily with aluminum materials.

+ Inspect parts using micrometers and calipers.

+ Focus on production run work.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ year of recent Turret and/or Amada folding machine experience.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2+ years of setting up and operating fabrication equipment.

+ Experience with press brake, punch press machines, and sheet metal fabrication.

+ Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, CNC, and tube bender.

Work Environment

The position is located at a large manufacturing facility in West Brooklyn Park, which includes assembly, warehouse, and fabrication areas. The facility is built on a strong culture and team-first mentality, with a lot of tenure in the fabrication areas. Each welder has a dedicated welding area/bay, and welding equipment (except helmet) is provided. Please note, the facility is a non-smoking environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $25.50/hr.
