Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. This position requires a candidate with expertise in CNC Mill Machining, particularly at an intermediate to journeyman level. The ideal candidate will be process-oriented and adaptable to established processes, with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct short-run, precision CNC machining and manage first runs.
+ Set up and operate CNC and machining centers to fabricate precision machined metallic and non-metallic parts.
+ Utilize machining equipment including vertical milling, horizontal milling, turning centers, turn/mill centers, and multi-axis machines.
+ Specialize in setting up mill turn sub spindle live tooling lathes with minimal supervision, utilizing the full capabilities of the machine tools.
+ Collaborate closely with the Programming and Manufacturing Manager to provide feedback on cycle time reduction and machine optimization.
+ Provide guidance and instruction to other machine operators and machinists.
+ Input feedback to programmers and technical personnel, and potentially program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software.
+ Ensure efficient production, on-time delivery, and product quality meeting customer specifications.
+ Review and study CAD drawings, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare for machining operations.
+ Set up and operate CNC machining equipment, including loading programs and securing materials.
+ Verify accuracy of machine settings and make adjustments as needed.
+ Prove out CNC programs and provide feedback for corrections and improvements.
+ Verify finished workpiece conformance to specifications and document inspection data.
+ Coordinate with other departments to integrate machining processes and provide input for technical issues.
Essential Skills
+ Intermediate to journeyman level CNC Mill Machining experience.
+ Ability to handle set-up and operation of CNC machinery independently.
+ Experience with vertical and horizontal milling.
+ Familiarity with G&M codes, Mazak, and Fanuc systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with 5-axis CNC Mills is preferred.
+ Knowledge of Mastercam and Renishaw probe systems is a plus.
+ Experience working with Mazak CNC’s is advantageous but not required.
+ Willing to consider candidates with only 4-axis experience.

Work Environment
Work in a clean machining facility equipped with over 10 CNC machines, with more under construction. The facility includes a clean room and QC area, fostering a collaborative environment with a focus on innovation and quality.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
