Job Title: Production Manager

Job Description

The Facility Manager plays a key role in managing the daily operations of both the office and production areas. This position involves handling a variety of administrative tasks, supporting production floor activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations. A proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable approach is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

+ Manage day-to-day production operations and general administrative functions.

+ Maintain supply inventory and ensure availability of necessary materials.

+ Monitor and replenish production supply levels as needed.

+ Coordinate machine scheduling and workflow on the production floor.

+ Assist with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and technical support for production systems.

+ Communicate regularly regarding inventory levels and manage raw material requirements.

+ Act as a liaison to the HR Department located in Iowa.

+ Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by leadership.

Essential Skills

+ Great work ethic, attitude, and drive to work.

+ Mechanical aptitude.

+ Ability to work well with others.

+ Proficiency in reading a tape measure.

+ Experience with hand tools, machine operation, micrometer, and caliper.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Direct manufacturing experience.

+ Ability to quickly learn and navigate a new ERP system (TCM preferred).

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

+ Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

+ High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

We manufacture large, heavy duty metal springs for the agricultural equipment, mechanical equipment, and overhead garage door industries.
