Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair. You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining and improving equipment efficiency.
Responsibilities
+ Perform troubleshooting and repair of conveyors, pumps, packaging machines, freeze dryers, grinders, belts, motors, and bearings.
+ Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.
+ Collaborate with a team to execute daily maintenance repairs and replacements of failed components.
+ Ensure equipment is maintained to the highest safety and operational standards.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the food industry or with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a plus.

Work Environment
The work schedule consists of 12-hour rotating night shifts from 5 PM to 5 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule. You will be part of a team working with 2 to 3 other colleagues during shifts, focusing on maintaining equipment for dog food and treat production. The workplace is pet-friendly, and the supervisor offers direct guidance and training, promoting a collaborative and educational work atmosphere.

This is a Permanent position based out of MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
