Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The PLC Electrical Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of PLC-controlled equipment within an industrial electrical cabinet manufacturing plant. This role involves supporting the machinery used in the production process and ensuring optimal performance through effective maintenance strategies.
Responsibilities
+ Install, configure, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and associated equipment.
+ Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled machinery and systems.
+ Identify electrical faults and implement corrective actions.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance on PLC systems and related components.
+ Document all maintenance activities and repairs according to company procedures.
+ Assist with the assembly, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
+ Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and documentation of PLC systems.
+ Ensure safe operation of power tools and electrical equipment.
+ Perform basic mechanical work as needed.
Essential Skills
+ 5-10 years of electrical maintenance experience preferred.
+ Associate's degree or equivalent experience in electrical technology or a related field.
+ Proven experience with PLCs, industrial controls, and electrical panels.
+ Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
+ Knowledge of industrial safety procedures.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled facility on a 1st shift schedule from 7am to 4pm. Be prepared to be on call for emergency situations. The role requires adherence to safety protocols in a structured environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
