    Bot Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Bot Technician who will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing robotic systems, equipment, and components. The role involves assisting in the development of diagnostic tools and test procedures, maintaining repair activity reports, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. The technician will also develop proposals for equipment purchase and maintenance instructions, and will complete assigned projects within specified time and cost schedules. Shift is Friday to Monday 6am to 5:30pm

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair damaged or malfunctioning robotic systems, equipment, and components.

    + Assist in the development and selection of diagnostic test and troubleshooting tools, devices, and fixtures.

    + Maintain detailed repair activity reports.

    + Ensure good housekeeping of tools, equipment, and repair areas.

    + Develop proposals for equipment purchase and maintenance instructions.

    + Complete assigned projects within negotiated time and cost schedules.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of experience with mechanical and electrical assembly and troubleshooting.

    + Ability to read blueprints and complex mechanical drawings.

    + Experience in robotics is preferred.

    + Proficiency in schematic reading, hydraulics, preventive maintenance, and maintenance technician tasks.

    + Experience with 3-phase systems, ladder logic, programming, automation, PLC troubleshooting, and electrical troubleshooting.

    + Understanding of instrumentation, robotics, pneumatics, electrical maintenance, and PLC programming.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2 or more years of proven competency in a technical capacity.

    + Proven experience in troubleshooting robotic equipment and/or industrial automation systems.

    + Self-motivated and highly organized.

    + Ability to lift 35 pounds and stand for long periods.

    + Understanding of various types of mechanical and electrical test equipment.

    + Ability to read and interpret specifications, wiring diagrams, and part prints.

    + Capable of handling multiple tasks.

    + Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation.

    + Hands-on skill set with a readiness to learn and utilize information quickly.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
