Summary This position is located at Monterey, California. DFMWR Marketing. This is a Flexible position 0 guaranteed hours and with no eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Responsibilities Provides oversight and management of the marketing office and staff. Primary responsibility is to promote and market services that support strategic business initiatives. Implements promotions and marketing campaigns that support offered programs, services, facilities, and activities. Marketing events and promotions are developed and approved by higher level management. Incumbent assist with evaluations and provides feedback in business revenue meetings. Campaigns are designed to stimulate business and create awareness. Develops plans that will meet client objectives. Maintains effective communication for coordination purposes. Manages all aspects of the event/promotion including: planning, budgets, execution, and after-action reports. Determines what products and services should be offered and recommends promotional strategies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Related work experience that include events and promotion implementation management experience. Technical skills to effectively perform marketing and promotions using tools of the trade and social media. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must be able to develop and make written and oral presentations of technical materials to nontechnical personnel. Education This position does not have an education substitution. Additional Information Area of Consideration This job is open to candidates who are Citizens and Non-Citizens residing within a 50-mile radius of the Presidio of Monterey, CA. . Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
