The Truck Driver category is for a TRUCKDRIVER, TRACTOR-TRAILER: A trailer having a set or several sets of wheels at the rear only, with the forward portion being supported by the truck tractor or towing.

Responsibilities

+ The Truck Driver drives a truck and tractor trailer to transport passengers between various types of local pick up and drop off points on Fort Sill, OK.

+ Make trips off the installation if needed.

+ The Driver is responsible for the safe operation of equipment.

+ In addition, the driver will ensure that all loading and unloading of the vehicle’s passengers is done in a safe manner.

+ Perform Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) before, during, and after missions. Report deficiencies and ensure vehicles are properly maintained and serviceable.

Qualifications

+ Valid CDL A.

+ Two years of relevant experience

+ High School Diploma or GED certificate.

+ Clean driving record for past seven years.

Desired Qualification:

+ Completed prerequisite training for Army Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 88M – Motor Transport Operator

New Hire Retention Bonus:

+ Earn up to $1,000 — $250 after 3 months, $250 after 6 months, and $500 after 1 year of continuous employment.
