Summary
Detail-oriented Quality administrator dedicated to ensuring discrepant material is being identified, quarantined, and documented following the applicable DMR process. The Quality administrator will summarize data related to discrepant material and will collaborate with other teams to get disposition of discrepant material in a timely manner to keep DMR levels down. The Quality administrator should be able to analyze data, managing multiple tasks and be passionate for continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties as assigned.
+ Work with Quality inspectors and Production supervisors/leads to retrieve Discrepant material from production areas.
+ Quarantine discrepant material, create DMR numbers in Epicor, fill out DMR log and create the DMR excel reports.
+ Schedule weekly and monthly meetings to determine dispositions and report out progress.
+ Analyze trends of discrepant material and provide insights for the Quality Manager and Quality Engineers to address recurrent issues.
+ Support Calibration System: A calibration tracking software. Send out equipment for calibration as needed, coordinate in-house calibration sessions.
+ Support final inspection activities as necessary per Quality supervisor direction.
+ Data entry into Excel spreadsheets to generate monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics.
+ Other duties & functions may be assigned to this position as needed.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Required:
+ High School diploma or equivalency.
+ Must possess the ability to communicate clearly and thoroughly (both verbally and in writing) with people of various disciplines.
+ Should have a strong attention to detail.
+ Must have the ability to manage priorities and multi-task.
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel & Power point.
+ Ability to analyze trends and summarize information to provide reports to Quality Manager.
+ Willing to learn new skills as needed to support assignments.
+ Demonstrates the ability to be flexible, work independently, prioritize and manage assignments.
Preferred:
+ Experience working in a lean manufacturing facility or continuous improvement environment.
+ Working knowledge of ISO/9001/14000/13485 and AS9100 processes.

The salary range specified is applicable to positions within the State of Illinois and reflects various factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, individual skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and the specific needs of our business and organization. At Astronics CSC, it is uncommon for new hires to receive an offer at or near the top end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are made based on the unique facts and circumstances of each candidate. The current estimated hourly range for this position is $20.00 to $24.00. In addition, you will be eligible for our Quarterly Incentive compensation bonus. Astronics offers a competitive salary, along with opportunities for career growth.
