**Job Title:** Site Lead
Job Summary:
EMCOR Facilities Services has an immediate opening for a Site Lead technician in Sarasota, FL. The Site Lead will report to the EMCOR Account Manager who will support this individual in providing quality workmanship and upholding high work standards to maintain a professional working environment. Primary responsibilities are to communicate with the client to understand the needs of the facility and coordinate vendors to maintain the facility systems and operations. Responsible for the preventive maintenance and repairs of all interior and exterior facility equipment and structures. Other duties include maintaining the landscaping of the facility as well as the access areas to the various 40+ well sites throughout the neighborhood. Knowledge of and capable to perform general type maintenance and various general tasks assigned. Qualified applicant must be a US Citizen, possess a valid driver’s license and have at least 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance in dealing with a wide range of general type services. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicates effectively with both on-site and remote clients to determine service needs. Responsible for any hurricane preparations and reporting. Coordinates, schedules and supervises sub-contractors while performing service on site.
Must be capable of working outdoors in high temperatures mowing all grass areas and access to well extraction sites throughout the neighborhood, pond maintenance, trimming decorative grass and weed control of the artificial turf area.
Minor janitorial cleaning of sinks, restroom fixtures, kitchen area and security areas daily.
General maintenance skills to repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, furniture set up/moves and general repairs.
Performs a wide variety of preventive and corrective maintenance work requests such as pressure washing the perimeter wall, HVAC PM’s, filter changes, equipment repairs, etc.
Qualifications:
Education
HS Diploma
Business Experience
5-7 years of experience related to facility maintenance & leadership.
Licenses/Certifications
Valid US driver’s license
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.
Technical Qualifications & Skills
Ability to perform various general type maintenance tasks. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence utilizing basic computer skills and ability to communicate via email and internet use.
Excellent customer service, leadership and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and furniture repair skills.
Ability to follow instructions and complete a variety of general maintenance tasks assigned.
Must possess computer skills for managing the CMMS work order system, operational reporting, research of materials and effective email communication.
Ability to operate various types of landscaping equipment.
Time management skills to coordinate and supervise the client sub-contractors while on site and manage to complete the daily routine tasks assigned. On-call duties as this facility operates 24/7 and the Site Lead is the main point of contact for after-hours emergencies.
Physical demands:
The ability to lift 40lbs, work outdoors in escalated temperatures at times, climb ladders, perform office moves and ability to walk the facility throughout the day are required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Work conditions:
The work environment is a water treatment facility that we maintain both the interior and exterior as well as the 40+ extraction well locations throughout the neighborhood. Most of the work performed by this position is outdoors where the employee is working most of the day in high outdoor temperatures. Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills are a must.
