    Laboratory Logistics Coordinator

    **Contract Duration:** 5 months with potential for extension

    **Compensation:** $24-$30 per hour

    **Location:** Richmond, CA

     

    About the Role

     

    We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Logistics Coordinator to support critical supply chain and inventory management operations at a public health laboratory facility. This role is essential to ensuring seamless laboratory operations through efficient coordination of supplies, equipment tracking, and distribution of testing materials across multiple laboratory sites.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Inventory & Supply Chain Management

    + Develop and maintain accurate inventory tracking systems for laboratory equipment, supplies, and testing materials.

    + Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely procurement to prevent operational disruptions.

    + Track shipments and maintain detailed documentation for audit compliance.

    + Document equipment and supplies according to established specifications.

    + Support emergency preparedness initiatives and rapid deployment of resources when needed.

    + Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

    Required Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in logistics, distribution, or inventory management.

    + Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

    + Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    + Effective written and verbal communication skills.

    + Experience in public health, clinical laboratory, or healthcare settings.

    + Familiarity with LEAN principles and process improvement methodologies.
