Job Duties and Responsibilities
Our IT Finance team is seeking a financial expert with a passion for innovation and technology. As the IT FinOps & Metrics Reporting Manager you will deliver operational efficiency insights and ensure our cloud spending is under control and optimized for maximum value. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration, encompassing financial modeling, cloud cost optimization, and in-depth data-driven analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop, automate, and ensure accuracy of financial and operational metrics reports (Power BI, Tableau)
+ Analyze infrastructure costs, usage patterns, and KPIs to identify savings and optimization opportunities
+ Monitor spending fluctuations, detect anomalies, and drive cost optimization initiatives
+ Collaborate with engineering, IT finance, supply chain, and executives to align on cloud and infrastructure spending
+ Present clear financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders, promoting accountability and awareness
+ Support compliance and strengthen financial processes and controls for cloud and infrastructure expenditures
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, computer science, or a related field
+ FinOps Certified Practitioner certification is a plus
+ 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, cloud operations, preferably in tech industry/Information Technology
Skills and Qualifications:
+ Manage and optimize AWS cloud spend using Cost Explorer, Budgets, CUR, and FinOps frameworks (e.g., chargebacks, cost governance, unit economics)
+ Apply AWS infrastructure knowledge (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS) to influence cost, performance, and resource allocation
+ Implement cost-saving strategies such as Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, right-sizing, and anomaly detection
+ Build financial dashboards and reports with Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight, or third-party tools like CloudHealth/Cloudability
+ Python, SQL, or shell scripting for usage analysis, automation, and cloud billing API integrations, preferred
+ Ensure compliance with audits, pricing models, software licensing, and internal financial controls while bridging Finance, Engineering, and DevOps

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year
