    At J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, our Field Performance & Incentives team designs and manages the programs that recognize advisor excellence and align rewards with business priorities. Well-structured compensation and incentive frameworks guide advisor behavior, support growth objectives, and help ensure our clients receive consistently outstanding advice.

     

    As Vice President on the Field Performance & Incentives Strategy & Design team, you will own the end-to-end development of compensation and incentive strategy that span the full advisor lifecycle-from recruitment and onboarding to retirement and succession. You'll translate broad business goals into targeted, field-leading programs that balance pay, performance, regulatory guidelines, and profitability. In this role, your insights and designs will influence behavior across 5,000+ advisors and help achieve J.P. Morgan Wealth Management's strategic objectives.

     

    This highly visible position offers deep exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional partners across Finance, HR, Legal, Risk, Technology, and our Advisor field force. You will lead strategic projects-building forecasting models, conducting industry benchmarking, preparing executive-level presentations, and enhancing analytics platforms-that inform decision-making at the firm's highest levels. By improving how we motivate, measure, and reward performance, you will help drive advisor results and strengthen the client experience across the US Wealth Management franchise.

    Job Responsibilities

    + Lead the design and implementation of advisor compensation and incentive programs, ensuring each plan aligns with business priorities, regulatory guidelines, and budget targets.

    + Develop financial models to forecast incentive expenses, measure program effectiveness, and support annual planning cycles.

    + Conduct market and peer benchmarking to keep our rewards packages competitive and relevant.

    + Prepare clear, data-driven presentations and briefing materials for senior executives and field leadership forums.

    + Partner with Legal, Compliance, HR, Finance, Technology, and field teams to document policies, define processes, and support training for new or updated programs.

    + Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor program performance, identify trends, and recommend timely adjustments.

    + Manage project plans, track milestones, and coordinate stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of strategic initiatives.

    + Support special initiatives around advisor career paths, team-based incentives, and program transitions, including retirement and succession planning.

    Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

    + Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.

    + Minimum of 6 years' experience in financial services, management consulting, compensation design, or a related function.

    + Demonstrated experience developing and managing incentive or compensation programs.

    + Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint for executive presentations.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

    + Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain attention to detail, and follow process controls.

    + Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills; discretion working with confidential information.

    Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

    + Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.

    + In-depth knowledge of wealth management products, advisor roles, and key business drivers.

    + Experience with compensation platforms or performance management systems.
