    You will be treating a combination of neuro and ortho patients in the Outpatient setting with the requirement to train in inpatient and float there if outpatient schedule is not filled. The patients may present post CVA (stroke), various neurodegenerative diseases, complex trauma and traumatic brain injuries and post surgical ortho, other joint pain/overuse injuries.

     

    The Physical Therapist conducts evaluations, assessments, prognosis, treatment, and education as prescribed by a qualified medical practitioner, in compliance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and Title 16 regulations.**

     

    *$4K New Hire Retention Incentive: 30% at 3 months and 70% at 12 months, $3K Relocation if moving from 100 miles.

    * Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago

    In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met

    * Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)

    * Must remain in original department/specialty

    * Must remain in original Job Title

    * Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus*unless*specifically noted in your offer letter.

    Requirements:

    * Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy

    * Licensed as a PT in the State of California OR License Pending (Must have license in hand before start)

    * Current BLS Certificate from the American Heart Association

    Preferred Experience:

    * At least one year of experience in inpatient or outpatient neuro setting
