Position: Desktop Support Technician

TEKsystems is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician with strong customer service abilities and hands-on technical experience for one of our clients based out of Sandy Hook, KY. This role involves providing onsite IT support to end-users.

Responsibilities

+ Deliver desktop support services including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware and software in a Windows-based environment

+ Assist with peripheral systems such as security cameras, servers, and network switches

+ Maintain accurate documentation and follow established protocols for service requests and incident resolution

+ Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with end users

Requirements

+ Valid driver’s license

+ Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions

Technical Skills

+ Proficiency in Windows operating systems (7, 10, 11)

+ Experience with user account management and directory services

+ Familiarity with hardware imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting

+ Knowledge of network connectivity, printer support, and mobile device setup

+ Exposure to low-voltage systems, access control, and CCTV is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
