Job Title: Benefits Specialist

Responsibilities

+ Conduct approximately 10 outbound calls daily to obtain missing or unclear benefit details.

+ Perform comprehensive benefit investigations using scripts or call guides.

+ Handle inbound patient calls regarding application status and missing information.

+ Document findings in the Summary of Benefits for providers.

+ Update case notes thoroughly in the Lynk system.

Work Environment

Work onsite in a cubical call center setting. Initial training shift is from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM at headquarters, followed by relocation to the PC West location. The facility is non-smoking, and standard shifts are Monday through Friday, either from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Note that there is a PTO blackout period in January, and holidays are observed but unpaid.

This is a Contract position based out of Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
