The Import Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing the importation of goods, ensuring compliance with all international trade regulations, and facilitating the smooth flow of shipments from origin to destination. The Import Specialist will work closely with vendors, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Your Impact

+ Manage inbound freight through the Customs process

+ Develop and execute short and long-term materials management and supply chain strategies to achieve key performance metrics

+ Work closely and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure quick problem solving and increased efficiency

+ Use your strong knowledge of supply chain management and material planning to analyze sales orders and production requirements to ensure accurate delivery dates

+ Understand, predict, and control the movement of materials to implement strategies, practices, and standardize operating procedures

Your Experience and Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Business or Supply Chain preferred

+ 2+ years of experience in import/export, logistics, or supply chain management including work with international suppliers

Your Compensation

This position will pay within the range of $55,000-$60,000, based on experience.

Your Workplace

You will work onsite at our Morton facility to team up with your wonderful AGCO PTx colleagues.

This position is based in a warehouse/distribution environment where temperature may very. This role is fast-paced and physically active, requiring regular lifting, bending, pushing and pulling, as well as standing and walking for extended periods. Team members must be comfortable working around warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks while following all safety procedures. Some overtime, weekend, or holiday hours may be required based on business needs.
