Role Overview: L3/L4 Data Center Technicians – Rapid Response TeamLocation

+ Work Site: Ellendale, North Dakota

+ Lodging: Aberdeen, South Dakota (approx. 40-minute commute)

Responsibilities

+ Unboxing, staging, and deploying advanced hardware

+ Daily QA/QC checks

+ Reviewing cut sheets, elevation plans, and overheads (training provided)

+ Physical buildout in the data hall

+ Pulling optics (fiber termination handled externally)

+ Installing network devices, patch panels, nodes, CPUs, GPUs

+ Executing Layer 2 and below networking tasks

Candidate Requirements

+ Strong understanding of data center hardware/configurations

+ Experience with diverse device types and mounting systems

+ Familiarity with network and node devices

+ Precision in orientation and placement

+ Adaptability and confidence with emerging technologies

+ Team-oriented mindset—no task is too small

Additional Notes

+ Will collaborate closely with a specialized technical team

+ RRT Lead will assign and support tasks

+ Must be prepared for cold winter conditions

+ Per Diem: $50/day (split between breakfast & lunch on workdays)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $67.07/hr.
