Role and Responsibilities:
• Management of large key project objectives, deliverables, milestones, dependencies and success criteria in collaboration with the project sponsor and other stakeholders.
• Ensures risks are accounted for and that an appropriate risk management process is in place and followed appropriately by the project team.
• Provides guidance throughout the project planning and execution phases, identifying and addressing issues as encountered within a broad area of expertise.
• Accountable to the project board, ensuring all stakeholders are kept up-to-date on the progress of the project, potential risks and delays, budget concerns, etc.
• Anticipates issues and delays that may occur during the project and puts contingency plans in place as appropriate.
• Responds to issues, challenges and concerns that arise during the project, challenging and pushing back as required.
• Manages the relationship with both internal and external senior stakeholders, escalating only in the most complex situations.
• Liaises with various departments across Europe as required throughout the project.
• Works with others to utilise multiple information sources in order to resolve complex problems, identifying potential solutions and recommendations
• Explains complex issues and works with others to reach a consensus in order to achieve the project objectives/success criteria
• Acts as an escalation point for project resources and other stakeholders
• Works within existing project delivery practices and processes, challenges where appropriate and contributes to improvements
• Employees are expected to work from the office 3 days per week.
Engagement Deliverable(s)
• Lead end-to-end delivery of end-user technology programmes, from initiation through execution and closure. These can include new office buildouts including custom audio-visual areas such as collaboration spaces and all staff areas, networking upgrades and the creation of bespoke applications.
• Manage programme scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resources across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Apply both agile (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) and waterfall methodologies appropriately, tailoring delivery frameworks to suit project needs.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, operations, and support teams to define requirements and success metrics.
• Act as a key liaison between technical teams and senior business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely escalation of risks or issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in programme delivery, identifying process gaps and implementing best practices.
• Mentor and coach project managers and analysts within the PMO to elevate delivery standards and foster a culture of excellence.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and reporting, ensuring compliance with Project Management Methodology and governance standards.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[114,500 - 134,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
