About the Position
In this role, you will oversee petroleum-contaminated sites by reviewing reports, conducting audits, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining accurate records to ensure an effective cleanup. Additionally, this role handles Petroleum Restoration Program (PRP)-funded site contracts, processes invoices and change requests, and provides technical and administrative support for program-related projects. Site Management at Petroleum Contaminated Sites:
+ Review reports, plans, and proposals; coordinate with technical staff; issue approvals and feedback to monitor cleanup progress.
+ Conduct quality assurance audits, generate inspection reports, and upload them to Oculus.
+ Enter all reports, reviews, and date extensions into STCM and local databases to track progress.
+ Upload documents to Oculus to maintain accurate public records.
+ Conduct file reviews and develop comprehensive site histories to guide cleanup planning.
+ Communicate with contractors and responsible parties regarding cleanup progress, strategies, and performance.
Contract Management for PRP-Funded Sites:
+ Negotiate and develop scopes of work and schedules of pay items; verify invoice accuracy to ensure timely payment.
+ Prepare and process Requests for Change (RFCs) and Field Requests for Change (FRFCs) within PRP timeframes to manage scope changes cost-effectively.
+ Review and process PRs, RFCs, and invoices in MFMP according to PRP deadlines.
Technical and Administrative Support:
+ Assist with program-related research, information requests, and document tracking.
+ Support the Environmental Supervisor with project management tasks.
About the Schedule
Work Hours:
+ Full-time, 40 hours per week.
+ Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ( no weekends! )

About You
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
+ B achelor ' s degree from an accredited college or university in one (1) o f the biological or physical sciences, Environmental Engineering, or a related field with three (3) years of professional related work experience.
+ OR: Master's Degree may substitute for one year of professional experience .
+ OR: Progressively responsible professional experience (totaling a minimum of seven (7) years) may substitute for the required college degree, at management's discretion .
+ Valid Florida driver's license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
Physical Demands: Employees in this role must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment for a period of five years.
About Everything Else
Starting Pay Range: $56,139.20 - $63,003.00
