    Role Overview

    We are seeking a mid-level engineer to join our team in building and maintaining the Enterprise Elastic APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tool. This role is ideal for someone with strong Elastic Stack experience and a passion for integrating AI-powered development tools. The candidate will play a key role in incorporating **GitHub Copilot** for source code enhancement, managing **GitHub Actions** workflows, and utilizing **M365 Copilot** for scripting updates and automation.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Design and deploy scalable Elastic Stack solutions, including Elastic Cloud implementations.

    + Assist in migrating legacy monitoring systems to Elastic Stack-based platforms.

    + Manage Elastic Stack components in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

    + Administer and optimize Elastic Stack on Linux VMs and Elastic Cloud.

    + Integrate AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and GitHub Actions into development and deployment workflows.

    + Leverage M365 Copilot to streamline scripting and automation tasks.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data ingestion, indexing, and visualization strategies.

    + Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across all deployments.

    + Document architecture decisions, deployment procedures, and best practices.

    Required Qualifications

    + 4–6 years of hands-on experience with the full Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats).

    + Experience with Elastic Cloud deployment and lifecycle management.

    + Proficiency in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

    + Strong Linux VM administration and deployment skills.

    + Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).

    + Experience integrating GitHub Copilot and GitHub Actions into development workflows.

    + Exposure to M365 Copilot for scripting and automation.

    + Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

    Preferred Skills

    + Experience in enterprise migration projects involving observability tools.

    + Knowledge of APM best practices in large-scale environments.

    + Agile/Scrum team experience.

    **Compensation:** - $75,000 to $90,000 +/- and this position are also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Application will be accepted by 11/02/2025
