Mission Support Specialist

The Mission Support Specialist serves as the first point of contact for the Savannah Opportunity Center and Goodwill Southeast Georgia’s corporate headquarters. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, including representatives from two partner organizations located in the building, and ensuring they are directed appropriately. In addition to front desk operations, the Specialist provides administrative support to the Mission Team and may assist other departments as needed.

Your Typical Day:
+ Greet and assist all visitors, staff, clients, and external partners while maintaining a professional and welcoming reception area
+ Connect guests with the appropriate internal or partner representatives
+ Coordinate team meetings, including scheduling, room setup, and preparing materials
+ Provide administrative support such as documentation, data entry, and internal communications
+ Assist with special projects, events, and initiatives led by the Mission Team
+ Offer occasional triage support for Opportunity Center services, Associate Success Program, and mission-specific training and scholarship programs
+ Provide administrative support to other departments as needed, including event coordination, filing, and office tasks
+ Assist with meeting setup and tear down; provide occasional after-hours support when required
What You’ll Need:
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
+ Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office technology
+ Experience in administrative or front desk roles preferred
+ Familiarity with mission-driven programs and services a plus
