Description:
Summary:
As the Front Desk Group Coordinator, you are the first point of contact for group-related needs. Your strong organizational skills are important for handling inquiries, booking rooms, coordinating special requests, communicating with group leaders, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process for large groups.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
+ Collect files from Group Reservations on incoming groups to pre-assign rooms, check-in groups, create keys, and deliver rooming list to the Bell Desk
+ Issue keys to the group leader and collect payment/vouchers
+ Assign guest accommodations in accordance with current policies and procedures
+ Manage cash flow in assigned bank and perform account postings
+ Reconcile departed group accounts and deliver files to Finance
+ Provide excellent guest service by handling all special requests and resolve any guest concerns
+ Run various reports regarding group activities
+ Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of group needs
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
+ Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications
+ At least 6 months of experience in role with similar responsibilities or with relevant transferrable skills in a similar environment
+ Experience providing high level of guest service
+ Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
+ At least 18 years of age
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
+ Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
+ Verify right to work in the United States
