About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated **Lead** **Data Architect** to join our team and help build scalable, reliable, and efficient data infrastructure. This role will be instrumental in supporting our Measurement Product and Engineering teams by designing and maintaining data pipelines, optimizing data storage, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

+ Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines using **Airflow** and **Cloud Functions** to meet evolving business requirements.

+ Optimize and manage **table schemas** , **views** , and **queries** in our data warehouse and databases for performance and scalability.

+ Conduct **ad-hoc analyses** to troubleshoot data-related issues and provide actionable insights into product and feature usage.

+ Document data architecture, integration processes, and pipeline designs to ensure clarity and maintainability across teams.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advise on **data best practices** for new product development.

+ Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.

Must-Have Qualifications

+ Proven experience with **data orchestration tools** such as **Airflow** , **CRON** , or **Prefect** , including dependency mapping.

+ Strong skills in **data analysis** , **data modeling** , and **schema design** .

+ Proficiency in **Python** , **SQL** , and **shell scripting** .

+ Experience working with **APIs** , **SFTP** , and **cloud storage** platforms like **Google Cloud Storage (GCS)** or **Amazon S3** .

+ Excellent **analytical problem-solving** skills, including the ability to interpret application logs and debug data issues.

+ Familiarity with **cloud computing platforms** , preferably **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)** .

Nice-to-Have Skills

+ Experience with **JavaScript** for data-related integrations or tooling.

+ Hands-on experience with **Airflow** in production environments.

+ Exposure to **producer/consumer** messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub).

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $100,600.00 - $280,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
