    This job posting serves as a **Sourcing Requisition for both Full-Time and Internship opportunities for Hardware (HW) Engineers.** By applying to this role, you agree to allow Lenovo to use your application as a reference for future hardware engineering positions.     • What We Look For in a Hardware Engineer at Lenovo:

    **Education:** Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

    Technical Skills:

    + Experience with Linux or other server-based operating systems (e.g., VMWare, RedHat, SuSE, Windows Server).

    + Proficiency in shell scripting (BASH, Perl, Python, or Windows PowerShell).

    + Familiarity with UEFI or systems management functions/protocols.

    + Understanding of product validation, unit testing, or error injection.

    + Knowledge of computer/server subsystems.

    + Familiarity with Intel, AMD, or ARM architectures.

    + Experience with validation methodologies and automation frameworks.

    + Hands-on experience swapping hardware components (CPUs, memory, drives, etc.); mechanical experience with electronics is a plus.
