    Description and Requirements

    Responsibilities

    Production Scheduling

    + Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules to ensure efficient utilization of resources and on-time delivery of customer orders.

    + Adjust and optimize schedules in response to demand changes, supply disruptions, or capacity constraints.

    Cross-Department Coordination

    + Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.

    + Communicate schedule updates, priorities, and potential risks to stakeholders.

    Process Monitoring & Efficiency

    + Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

    + Analyze production workflows and recommend improvements to increase throughput, reduce downtime, and enhance resource utilization.

    Inventory & Materials Management

    + Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to balance supply and demand.

    + Partner with procurement to forecast material needs, minimize shortages, and reduce excess inventory.

    On-Time Delivery & Resource Optimization

    + Ensure products are delivered on schedule while maintaining cost efficiency.

    + Optimize labor, equipment, and material usage to meet production goals.

    Manufacturing Metrics & Reporting

    + Track, analyze, and report on key manufacturing metrics (e.g., OEE, cycle time, yield, scrap, capacity utilization).

    + Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement process improvements.

    Basic Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.

    + 1+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.

    + Strong knowledge of production control principles, capacity planning, and inventory management.

    + Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).

    + Ability to analyze production data and identify trends to improve performance.

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

    + Hands-on experience managing metrics such as OEE, takt time, and throughput.

    + Background in high-mix, low- to mid-volume production environments.

    + Familiarity with advanced planning and scheduling tools.
