    Job Duties:

    Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships; ability to work in a team environment sharing workloads and responsibilities; ability to prioritize and delegate workload when necessary.

     

    Responsible for the design, development, installation, implementation, support and/or maintenance of computer software.

     

    Applicants must be experienced working in LAN/WAN environments.

     

    Maintain communications with supervisors and team members (email, voice mail, cell phone, etc.).

     

    Assist in the training and instruction of users in LAN operating systems and/or LAN applications.

     

    Perform troubleshooting for computer equipment for all staff and students.

     

    Act as liaison between WNYRIC and the customer (School District) regard to in networked hardware, software and application issues

     

    Familiar with setup and use of Active Directory, Windows, Ethernet, TCP/IP, email, PCs, MACs and other technologies, as required by specific assignment.

     

    Coordinate with the WNYRIC Senior WAN Specialist to maintain optimal network performance.

     

    Evaluate hardware and software, and provide management with recommendations.

     

    Responsible for installing, maintaining, testing and repairing a variety of computers and related equipment.

     

    Knowledge and understating of Windows, Google, and Apple operating systems and related peripherals.

     

    Ability to act independently; have responsiveness, courtesy and timeliness in a professional manner to all members of the Hamburg Central School District. Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

     

    Maintain accurate records of work in process, work completed, inventory control and asset management tracking

     

    Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
