The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is hiring a Director for CTE Program Quality to join our Workforce Solutions team. As the Director for CTE Program Quality, you will provide leadership and expertise in the development and coordination of CTE curriculum, coordinating state-level training and mentoring opportunities for CTE faculty and administrators, assisting with the state-level implementation of all career pathways and plans of study that provide a seamless transition from secondary to postsecondary programs, and providing liaison activities with CACTE. You will be the leadership and project manager for all CTE pathways and state-level initiatives. Additionally, under the supervision of the Associate State Director for Career & Technical Education, you will manage and serve as the leadership for alignment of the Colorado CTE Strategic Plan to new legislation, new national, new state, and new system level initiatives and requirements.
+ Supervise and support CTE Program Directors in the design and implementation of career pathways and curriculum to ensure consistency in the quality across CTE discipline areas of curriculum documentation and processes, including the supervision of related CTE budgets.
+ Lead CTE program expansion efforts by reviewing current data on active programs, program development, and program closure for CTE programs in secondary and post-secondary schools.
+ Establish and maintain project management processes for the development and updating of CTE curriculum and state-level initiatives, including the communications, planning, timelines, and alignment to the CTE Strategic Plan. This includes representing CTE in the maintenance and development of common curriculum in postsecondary education as well as other academic projects like CIP alignment.
+ Lead CTE program quality and evaluation, focusing on results and public accountability of CTE program quality in Work-Based Learning as well as other CTE metrics as defined by the Strengthening Career and Technical Education Act. This position will serve the local CTE districts and colleges as they strive for quality CTE programs as well as serve and support internal CCCS colleagues.
Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights
+ Bachelor’s degree. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for the degree.
+ Three years of local career and technical education administration or teaching experience in a CTE area.
+ Supervisory experience.

+ Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office computer applications, including Word and Outlook.
+ Some experience in management, conference planning, and program approval preferred but not required.
Work Location/Travel Expectations:
+ This position is located at 9101 E Lowry Blvd., Denver, CO 80230.
+ Some travel in state and out of state is required.
+ Alternative work arrangements, including flexible schedules and remote work may be available. All work must be completed in the state of Colorado.
