Offering Management Lead

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Offering Manager to oversee our New Product Introductions (NPI) initiatives within BA Fire. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the successful launch of new products and features, from concept to market delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading NPI programs, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. NPI Strategy Development and Planning
• Develop and execute a comprehensive NPI strategy aligned with business objectives, product roadmap, and market opportunities
• Define the vision, goals, and priorities for NPI initiatives and ensure alignment with broader company strategies
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify and validate new product opportunities
• Collaborate using tools like Jira Align and Confluence to define capabilities and ensure alignment across teams
• Translate market needs and customer feedback into clear product requirements, features, and specifications
2. Customer Discovery
• Understand unmet/under-met needs in the market
• Manage Ideation Pipeline and identify Minimum Viable Segment
• Assess Willingness to Pay and conduct adjacent market discovery
• Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats
3. Cross-Functional Leadership and Collaboration
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Design, Marketing, and Sales throughout the NPI lifecycle
• Navigate systems such as SAP and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to support product development and launch
• Facilitate communication and coordination between teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption
• Act as the primary point of contact and internal advocate for new products
4. Product Roadmap Development
• Lead the development of product roadmaps for NPI initiatives, outlining key milestones, features, and enhancements to be delivered over time
• Prioritize initiatives based on market trends, customer needs, and business priorities
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for NPI initiatives
5. Project Management and Execution
• Monitor progress against key milestones and proactively identify risks
• Implement mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track
• Coordinate beta testing, pilot programs, and market trials to validate product performance and gather actionable customer insights
6. Commercialization and Go-to-Market Strategy
• Partner with Marketing and Sales to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales enablement materials
• Lead product launch activities including sales training, customer education, and promotional campaigns
• Track post-launch performance, collect feedback, and iterate on product features and marketing strategies as needed
7. Stakeholder Engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, partners, and industry influencers
• Serve as the primary point of contact for NPI-related matters and ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged
8. Performance Monitoring and Optimization
• Monitor key performance metrics for NPI initiatives, including revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction
• Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization
• Conduct post-launch reviews to assess NPI success against KPIs and business metrics
9. Innovation and Future Planning
• Drive innovation within the NPI process by identifying new market opportunities, emerging technologies, and customer needs
• Work closely with R&D and innovation teams to develop and test new product concepts
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform future product strategies
• Identify opportunities for product enhancements, process improvements, and cost optimization
Compensation & Benefits:
Incentive Eligible
Salary Range: $142,000 - $177,000

Required Qualifications (YOU MUST HAVE)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on leading NPI initiatives
• Proven track record in managing a portfolio of products, projects, and investments
• Demonstrated expertise in portfolio performance management and understanding of how to find potential markets that help meet unmet/under-met needs
• Ability to create business cases with strong understanding of P&L
• Strong understanding of Master Data Management
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve results
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving innovation and growth through NPI initiatives
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications (WE VALUE)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
• Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment and familiarity with agile methodologies
• Experience in a global organization
• Experience in market research and analysis
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira Align and SAP
• Experience managing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
