Summary

This job is responsible for operating material handling equipment in a safe manner for the purpose of moving, locating, stacking and counting merchandise.

Key Responsibilities

+ Safely operate a forklift to transport totes from production lines to the warehouse.

+ Load, unload, high-stack, and stage totes of frozen products.

+ Accurately enter data and product locations using a hand scanner.

+ Read daily order sheets and retrieve appropriate products from the warehouse.

+ Load and unload trailers at the dock.

+ Perform pre-operation maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues.

+ Charge forklift batteries as needed.

+ Balance multiple tasks, work under pressure, and exercise good judgment.

+ Work independently or with minimal supervision.

Typical Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Relevant Experience

1+ years related experience and/or training

Other Information

Ability to safely operate a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, and high stacking totes.
