Corrections RN – Lansing, KS | 13-Week Assignment
We’re hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Corrections assignment in Lansing, KS. This is a great opportunity to provide essential care in a secure facility while working a consistent schedule.
+ Location: Lansing, KS
+ Start Date: ASAP
+ Duration: 13 weeks
+ Schedule: 36 hours/week
+ Overtime: Often available
+ Local Candidates (within 50 miles): $55/hour
+ Travel Candidates (50+ miles from facility): $2,225/weekProof of residency required for travel rate
? Requirements:
+ Active RN license
+ Minimum 1 year of corrections experience required
+ Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a secure environment

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with otherhealthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensurethe well-being of the incarcerated population. The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specificchallenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing careto their patient population. This careincludes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facilitysetting.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices
+ Minimum of one year of correctional health care experiencepreferred
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
