Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Banquet Captain to join our team at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As a Banquet Captain, you will lead the food and beverage team during events while delivering the highest quality of service to our guests. $16.50 - $21.00 / hour

What will you do?

+ Train, schedule, and supervise banquet team members

+ Conduct daily function meetings with banquet managers and team members before events

+ Ensure all company policies, service procedures, and safety standards are followed

+ Maintain communication with the banquet and kitchen teams

+ The successful applicant must have a clean driving record and a valid drivers license.

More about you

+ Minimum of 6 months of experience in a supervisory position

+ Excellent guest service and employee relations skills

+ Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays

+ Basic math and counting skills

+ No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

+ Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds

+ Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts

+ Possible exposure to loud noise
