    We have an outstanding career opportunity for aField Service Technicianto join a leading Company located inRenton, WA.

     

    US Citizenship is required.

     

    Salary: $65,000

     

    Shift: M-F 1p-930p

     

    The Field Service Technician II provides on-site support pertaining to interiors manufactured in the USA, France, and Great Britain.

     

    The team of Field Service Technicians provides assistance to customers during the build of the Aircraft specific to installation issues, damaged parts, rework pickups, cosmetic defects, and any customer relations issues we have .

     

    Rework areas include: Receiving, BFE, Factory, and Flight line relating to all built Aircraft with our product.

     

    All rework performed must adhere to drawings, specifications, and specific rework instructions.

     

    This position will work under general supervision and reports to the OSS Manager on a daily basis .

     

    This position handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more highly complex issues to higher-level technicians.

    Responsibilities :

    + Rework and stamp pickups self-identified and/or written by the company and/or customer during the build of the Aircraft.

    + Replace/troubleshoot faulty electronic components and other damaged parts, adjust misaligned panels/trim pieces, provide assistance to the seat installation team, and perform other miscellaneous tasks.

    + Sustains a high-quality level of workmanship at all times.

    + Responds promptly to all communication (telephone, etc) with personnel and customers.

    + Maintain a good rapport with personnel and customers.

    + Follow safety guidelines or processes established by the organization at all times.

    + Submits accurate part order requests and understands the POA / SOA process.

    + Responsible for driving the company van and other technicians safely around our Facilities.

    + Attend daily standup/tie-in meeting.

    + Adhere to training requirements that relate to the Flight line, Safety, and other course overviews throughout the year.

    + Coordinate verbally with QA's, Engineers, Leads, Technicians, and other key personnel on a daily basis .

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Basic Hiring Criteria :

    + High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related technical field preferred.

    + At least 2 years of Field Service experience related to troubleshooting and repairs required.

    + Travel - International and/or Domestic travel required; Approximately 2-4 weeks per year.

    + Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a passport.

    Desired Qualifications :

    + Natural mechanical ability with hand and power tools.

    + Basic working knowledge of CMMs, Engineering Drawings, and other technical documents.

    + Basic computer knowledge and some familiarity with MS Office applications.

    + Proficient in using smartphones/tablets on a daily basis to send emails, pictures, and use other applications.

    + Ability to work efficiently under stressful situations.

    + Follows instructions and completes jobs in a timely manner .

    + Customer service is essential for this job , and the employee must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    + Must have the availability to work various hours, after hours, and weekends as needed.

    + Must have the ability to maintain multiple tasks simultaneously, including the ability to manage assignments from more than one customer during any given day.

    + Willing to travel to other FALs in other states and other international sites on some occasions.

    + Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.

    + Ability to read and review written communication.

    + Speech and hearing abilities that allow an individual to communicate clearly and distinctly.

    + Hands-on electrical troubleshooting knowledge, i.e., testing voltage and continuity.

    + Demonstrated participation in continuous improvement efforts.

    + Clear written and verbal communication.
