SR. ORACLE APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER - MANUFACTURING
ABOUT YOU:
We’re seeking a Sr. Oracle Applications Developer - Manufacturing with deep expertise in Oracle EBS and a focus on supply chain solutions. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and optimize critical applications that drive operational excellence and business growth. YOU WILL:
+ Support. Assist in Oracle EBS support and enhancements while ensuring minimal disruption to key Oracle EBS applications.
+ Update & Maintain. Monitor and optimize system performance. Test and validate application changes in collaboration with the IT Business Analysts and key business users. Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
+ Develop. Design, develop, and maintain Oracle programs, forms and reports related to our order fulfillment and manufacturing systems. Position requires a solid understanding of manufacturing and distribution concepts and processes. Create and modify Oracle Forms, Reports, PL/SQL packages, interfaces, and workflows within the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules while adhering to Oracle development standards. Develop and manage integrations between Oracle EBS applications and external order fulfillment vendors.
+ Advise. Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving Oracle application issues.
+ Strengthen. Demonstrate a commitment to Total Quality and the process of continuous improvement. Identify and respond actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers and be open and responsive to change. Ensure data consistency and accuracy across integrated systems.
+ Partner. Collaborate with functional teams to address system gaps, enhancements, and new functionality requests. Works closely with business and other team members to estimate, design, build, test, and debug solutions that meet business requirements. Provide accurate and effective direction and technical expertise to less experienced personnel. Direct, instruct, and coach assigned team members in order to meet project goals. Lead or serve on IT ad hoc committees as assigned. This may include research, problem solving, information organization and documentation.
+ Grow. Remain knowledgeable about current and new technology related to all aspects of information processing by researching technical materials, attending seminars, staying up-to-date on release notes and Trailhead modules, training classes and consulting with personnel from other industries. Stay updated on Oracle best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
+ Typical/expected % of overnight travel. None to minimal.
YOU HAVE:
+ Experience. Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS development with a strong focus on Order Management, Inventory, WIP, Purchasing and Bill of Materials. 5+ years of experience developing and managing Oracle e-business applications (Order Mgmt, Manufacturing, Inventory, Purchasing, AR, AP, GL). Demonstrated proficiency with the following: SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, XML Publisher, database design and performance, and tuning. Proven track record of working in large-scale, high transaction volume Oracle EBS environments. Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Workflow and BI Publisher is preferred.
+ Education. Bachelor’s degree with an analytical discipline or 5+ years of experience directly related to professional software development.
+ Drive & Strategy. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
+ Technical Skills. Experience with Oracle e-Business open interfaces, API's, Workflow, and Concurrent Manager. Experience using source control systems. Strong analytical ability to perform a full range of system design and programming responsibilities utilizing state-of-the-art concepts, techniques, and languages.
+ Attention to Detail. High-level requirements gathering, ability to translate into technical specifications.
+ Organization. Knowledge of business management concepts, techniques and functions. Knowledge of project management techniques and ability to lead small to medium-sized projects or development efforts. Ability to accurately estimate deliverables requirements into development hours.
+ Communication & Teamwork Skills. Demonstrated experience working as part of a development team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and instructional manuals. Ability to write reports and other varied business correspondence and present information effectively, both written and verbal. Strong leadership capabilities, self-motivated, pleasantly aggressive, and realistically ambitious with high personal ethics. Must be able to work independently as well as a member of a team, as well as work with confidential material and information.
