Job Purpose

The Industrial Technician is responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of a wide range of hand tools used in our industrial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with hand tools, and a commitment to safety and quality.

What you will do...

+ Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all maintenance and repair activities.

+ Collaborate with other technicians and departments to support overall equipment reliability and workplace safety.

+ Inspect, maintain, and repair a variety of hand tools (manual and power tools) to ensure optimal performance and safety.

+ Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with hand tools, identifying root causes of malfunctions or failures.

+ Calibrate hand tools according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards to ensure accuracy and reliability.

+ Document all maintenance, repairs, and calibrations performed, maintaining accurate records in compliance with company policies.

+ Communicate with manager regarding service priorities and status.

+ Assist with loading and unloading of products in the warehouse, on trailers or vehicles.

+ Deploy to manage onsite tool projects as needed. Duration of duty varies by project.

+ Provide technical support and training to staff on the proper use and care of hand tools

+ Operate equipment such as a forklift, parts picker, or motor vehicle.

Requirements

+ 2 years of industrial technician experience

+ A valid driver's license

+ HS Diploma or equivalent

Skills

+ Able to work standing for long periods

+ Attention to detail and sense of urgency

+ Multi-tasking individual who uses project management skills to accomplish goals

+ Must react to changing business needs

+ Works and communicates effectively with all levels of the company

+ Computer skills to support entering information into systems

**Pay Range:** $22/hr - $26/ hr
