Job Description

Serves as the subject matter expert and champion of user-centered design to improve the user experience of all the client's digital properties (ssfcu.org, account origination, online and mobile banking, marketing microsites, etc.). Provides architectural deliverables, such as user task/journey flows, wireframes, comps, prototypes, publishable interfaces, etc. Drives UX-related business requirements in collaboration with business analysts, content strategists and digital analysts. Presents design proposals to pertinent lines of business. Plans and conducts usability tests and contextual inquiries with users/ members. Provides guidance and solution options based on user feedback. Informs the departmental management’s vision and decision-making towards the ongoing, continuous evolution of our digital properties to achieve set corporate objectives. Captures and translates the management’s vision into concrete UX deliverables.

Maintains the design system and UX/UI standards in close collaboration with the other UX/UI designers.

Skills and Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in UX Design

- Front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, jQuery/JavaScript, etc.

- Experience supporting mobile applications' UX design

- Current UX Design portfolio reflecting past designs

- Experience with usability testing

- Experience designing interfaces in a CMS - UX Design certification

- Financial industry experience

- Experience using Figma or similar for prototyping
