• Assistant Lab Technician

    Job Description

    Handle and prepare specimens for testing, ensuring accurate data entry and QC in LIMS. Review documentation, resolve discrepancies, and facilitate workflows. Act as primary customer contact, ensuring satisfaction and meeting needs from delivery to reporting. Maintain logs, billing, and perform quality checks. Document complaints and train personnel. Ensure policies reflect current practices.

    Skills and Requirements

    * Associates (AA or AS) degree.

    * One year of experience as a Lab Tech; combination of education or experience in related field. (Life sciences, biology, pharma etc.)

    * Minimum of 2 years Customer Service experience

    * Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and HIPAA

    * Knowledge of working with potentially biohazardous specimens

    * Knowledge of medical terminology * Strong computer skills, mainly within Excel
