    Job Type: Direct Hire

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    Overview:

    Our client is seeking a driven and meticulous individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has extensive experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

    • Implement and monitor effective inventory management techniques to maintain accuracy and integrity.

    • Ensure safety and efficiency in all warehouse activities.

    • Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff.

    • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes (e.g., customer sales, order management, accounting, shipping).

    • Manage stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs.

    • Use WMS to optimize picking and storage processes and maintain real-time data.

    • Handle inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring efficient space utilization and compliance with shipping regulations.

    • Develop expertise in LTL shipping strategies to optimize freight movements and costs.

    Skills and Requirements

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years of experience as a Warehouse Operations Manager or similar role.

    • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices, including detailed knowledge of WMS.

    • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

    • Hands-on experience with WMS software and databases.

    • Proficiency in managing inbound and outbound LTL shipments.

    • Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage staff, including coaching conversations to ensure departmental and organizational success.

    • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

     

    Compensation: $60,000-$80,000/year. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
