    Insight Global's water filter manufacturer client is looking for a Part-time Shipping and Receiving Clerk to assist their Novi, MI-based facility. This facility is the sole shipping and receiving hub for the organization, and is operating as a one-man-show. With their current S&R Coordinator planning to retire in the next 2-5 years, the client is looking for the right individual to take over the department long-term.

     

    The ideal candidate will have experience with shipping & receiving and/or building maintenance. They will need to assist in keeping a clean and organized warehouse, ensure that packages are shipped in a timely manner, keep accurate records of all inventory, and ensure that all packages, both incoming and outgoing, are not damaged. We are looking for someone who is a team player, organized, can work under pressure and is able to follow instructions.

    Daily Responsibilities:

    - Receiving shipments, packing shipments, preparing shipping labels

     

    Packing/picking, preparing box, come into office, create shipping label

    Skills and Requirements

    Must Haves:

    - High School Diploma

     

    - 3+ years of Shipping and Receiving experience in a warehouse environment

    Intermediate experience with the Microsoft Suite Plusses:

    - Experience with Sage

    • Accounting/inventory tracking software

     

    Able to operate a High Low Machine, Scissor Lift
