    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Localization Project Manager to support global expansion initiatives. This role will manage localization projects, leveraging TMS tools (Smartling and XTM) and working closely with cross-functional teams and localization vendors to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Project Management

     

    -Manage localization requests and projects across product UI, documentation, and support content.

     

    -Define scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders and business priorities.

     

    -Track and report project progress, risks, and blockers to stakeholders.

     

    •TMS Tools

     

    -Oversee translation workflows in Smartling and XTM, including project setup, automation, and quality checks.

     

    -Troubleshoot TMS tool issues and work with engineering or vendor support as needed.

     

    -Maintain and apply translation memories, glossaries, and style guides to ensure linguistic consistency.

     

    • Vendor Management

     

    -Act as the primary point of contact for localization vendors, managing schedules, and queries.

     

    -Coordinate vendor assignments, monitor KPIs, and enforce SLA compliance.

     

    -Consolidate and communicate vendor feedback to improve output quality.

     

    • Cross-functional Collaboration

     

    -Partner with Product, Engineering, Documentation, Marketing, and Support teams to gather requirements and prepare content for localization.

     

    -Ensure source content readiness and localization best practices are embedded early in workflows.

     

    -Provide guidance on localization feasibility and cultural appropriateness for target markets.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience in localization project management or a related role. Hands-on experience with Smartling and XTM.

    • Strong understanding of TMS, translation workflows, translation memories, and terminology management.

    • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across functions and time zones.

    • Experience managing external localization vendors. ● Familiarity with internationalization concepts and multilingual QA processes
