    Job Summary:

    As the Director, Laboratory, you will plan, organize, lead, develop and coordinate the efficient operation of assigned laboratories.

     

    You will maintain cost-effective and efficient department operations while ensuring high levels of patient service and satisfaction. You will work with medical directors and staff to develop, implement and maintain quality standards and improve performance.

     

    In this role, you will ensure laboratories remain compliant and establish and maintain local, regional and national networks of professional contacts.

    REQUIREMENTS

    + Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science

    + 5 years clinical laboratory experience

    + 3 years management experience

    + Certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists

    PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

    + Master’s degree
